Ridge Creek Therapeutic Boarding School

Adolescent Substance Abuse and Addiction

For Adolescents struggling with substance abuse and addiction, Ridge Creek School provides an effective and exciting alternative treatment program created to meet the age-specific needs of our students.

Unfortunately, in modern society, adolescent substance abuse and addiction, as well as other forms of addictive behavior, have become far too common. At Ridge Creek, we have a long history of helping children caught in these frightening cycles find a path to recovery. Traditional, in-patient rehab can be time consuming and expensive and, sadly, many times ineffective. Therefore, we have created an intensive and proven comprehensive addictions program that is designed to provide the tools that young adults need to live healthy, sober, non-dependent lives beyond their time with us. The Ridge Creek Treatment Model includes, but is not limited to:

  • Psycho-educational groups led by counselors experienced in addiction treatment
  • Thorough assessment of substance use issues
  • AA and NA meetings at the facility and in the local community
  • Counselor help in step working sessions
  • Aftercare planning designed to maintain a clean and sober life
  • Al-anon groups both on and off campus
  • Disordered Eating Support groups for student that have been medically stabilized
  • Self-injury support groups
