Ridge Creek Therapeutic Boarding School

Parent and Family Involvement

The decision making process for selecting the appropriate boarding school for your child is a difficult one. Of course, there is the added dimension of finding the best match for guiding your child in the learning of the “life skills” required to modify current behaviors. We understand these complexities. Our mission is to offer you and your family the support and understanding you will need during this process. Our professional staff is available to you during this difficult time. Your conversations with our expert team are completely confidential.

An integral component of RCS’s program is addressing and healing the family core.
This is accomplished through the

family’s involvement

in the student’s program.
  • Therapist telephone contact. Updates and discussion on important issues
  • Parent / Child telephone calls
  • Parent Workshops
  • Family visits after each Parent Workshop
  • Invitations to attend school events - on and off campus
  • Five Holiday and seasonal school breaks
  • Monthly parent visit

“You made me believe that miracles do really happen! I have no words to express properly my appreciation for what you have done to our family. It is such a joy for us all to have our young man around again, specially since he has become a wonderful and charming young man. I’m so proud of him!

“Words cannot express our gratitude to all the Ridge Creek School staff for the years of patience, understanding, and guidance that you have given us. Your dedication and encouragement have given our son his wings to fly! Thank you and God bless you all!”

“Words are not enough to thank you and the entire staff at Ridge Creek School for the help that my grandson received in the 21 months that he was there. Our grandson is a different young man that the one we left in your care. RCS gave him the confidence to participate in sports, to know he could excel academically, and to make friends, and to be accepted. Thank you RCS for returning our boy to us.”
